Turn Here: ARTISTS PROMOTING ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS

Featuring artists who use signage and other graphic approaches as a strategy for promoting eco-awareness. Includes work by Xavier Cortada, documenting his trips to the South and North Poles; Helen Lessick's work with sign painters of Kenya to create signs about soil depletion and health; Tim Gaudreau, Amie Potsic, and artists from the Green Patriot Posters project.
Opening reception: Thursday, May 17, 2012
5:30 pm: Participatory Event with Longitudinal Installation
6:00 - 8:00 pm: Panel discussion with artists, followed by reception
