For Art in the Open, I plan to gather natural materials from the area along the river to construct a sculpture, probably similar in scope to the image below, using tree branches, native grasses and leaves, and handmade flax paper.  The form of the sculpture will reflect or be a response to the site along the river, and it will be in a state of growth and change during Art in the Open with the intention of achieving a finished state by its close.
